WHAT ARE CRYPTOBAGS?

CryptoBags are interactive art installations hidden in cities and event spaces around the world. Depending on the type of bag it will contain real Bitcoin or Ethereum and come with a corresponding digital twin NFT that can be claimed by the first person to scan its QR code and complete a simple online process.

WHO IS BEHIND CRYPTOBAGS?

CryptoBags is an initiative by Blokculture, an artist, Cryptopunk, and tech founder. He created this project to make self-sovereignty the world of crypto and NFTs more accessible and exciting for everyone.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Follow Blokculture and Cryptobags_xyz on Twitter and keep an eye out for physical pixelated CryptoBag treasures popping up during events like NFT Paris and in select city locations. We will release information on new pieces being dropped so stay tuned. Once you find one, scan the QR code and follow the on-screen instructions to claim your free crypto and NFT.

WHO KEEPS THE PHYSICAL PIECE ON THE WALL?

The first person who finds each piece is invited to take it off the wall and keep it. Thats right, you heard us correctly... Take it off the wall and keep it. The physical CryptoBag becomes a collectible piece of art for the finder, commemorating their participation in this unique project. They are lightly stuck on the wall with sticky pads as to not damage or deface public property. Crypto has enough problems without us scuffing up the streets with our CryptoBags!

When you take it off the wall check out the back as you will find a secret code unique to each piece which our tech providers LTD.INC will need to release your NFT to you. More on that below in Point 7.

HOW DO I CLAIM THE CRYPTO?

Only Bitcoin and Ethereum are up for grabs at the moment. Here are the steps to claim either based on which CryptoBag you find:

1. Scan the unique QR code next to the physical artwork

NOTE: If for some reason the QR code is not present, flip over the CryptoBag and locate the unique code printed on its back. Next gently tap your phone against the circle provided to interact with a secret NFC chip embedded in the artwork. This will take you to a secure page. Type the code from the back of the CryptoBag into the field and press "ENTER".

2. You now have exclusive access to a secure webpage where you can copy pasta the private key into any Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet and transfer the crypto into your own secure wallet. It is important to transfer the Bitcoin or Ethereum to a wallet you own because in order to make this project work, we had to put the private key in the public domain which reduces the wallets security for future use. You should not share this private key with anyone as they will most likely take your loot!

DO I NEED A WALLET TO PARTICIPATE?

If you just want to own this CryptoBag and enjoy it as art then no. But if you want to extract the crypto then you'll need a crypto wallet to take ownership of your Bitcoin and Ethereum rewards. However, creating a wallet is free and easy.

For Bitcoin we would recommend Blue Wallet or Unisat

For Ethereum we would recommend Metamask or Phantom

IS THERE AN NFT ALSO?

Yes there is! Each physical CryptoBag also comes with a corresponding NFT that is unique to each artwork. This digital token is proof that you are the owner of the artwork and limited edition collectible and potentially unlocks future surprises & potential.

Pretty cool huh!

Think of your NFT as a digital Certificate of Authenticity that not only guarantees your CryptoBag's authenticity, but will help hold the artworks potential value if it gains traction within the art and collectibles market.

On the reverse of each CryptoBag is a secret code. You will be asked to enter the code into a form, along with your email address and wallet address. After you have submitted this info we will email you to confirm your wallet has been set up to claim your free digital twin CryptoBag NFT.

IS THIS A SCAM?

Absolutely not! CryptoBags is a legitimate project with secure technology and clear instructions. All NFT claims are powered by our tech provider and leading phygital NFT platform LTD.INC.

As with any online activity, there's always a potential risk of scams or phishing attempts. Be sure to only interact with the official CryptoBags website and QR codes, and never share your private keys with anyone. If in doubt, get in touch!
